Named after the son of Hans Vinding-Diers, this Malbec comes from ancient vineyards in Mainqué, also biodynamically managed. It is a plot wine, with grapes selected from vineyards over 60 years old, fermented in cement and oak vats, and aged in used barrels to preserve the expression of the terroir. It is more accessible than Noemía Malbec, but maintains a high level of quality and reflects the fresh and concentrated character of Patagonia. J Alberto 2021 from Bodega Noemía Patagonia
Tasting notes: Color: Intense red with garnet nuances. Aroma: Expressive, with red and black fruits (plums, raspberries, cassis), floral notes (violets) and a touch of spice (black pepper). The Patagonian minerality is perceived with subtlety. Taste: The palate is vibrant, with marked acidity and firm but polished tannins. It has good fruit concentration, a medium-high body and a fresh and persistent finish. Texture: Fluid and modern, with an agile step that invites you to drink. Pairing: Lean meats: Excellent with a baked pork loin with herbs or a grilled beef tenderloin. Pastas with intense sauces: Combine with meat ravioli in spicy tomato sauce or bolognese. Sausages and charcuterie: Perfect with a board of raw ham, salami and pâté, since its acidity cuts through the fat. Specific suggestion: Patagonian lamb empanadas, to connect with the origin of the wine. J Alberto 2021 from Bodega Noemía Patagonia
