About Lagarde

Since 1897, Bodega Lagarde has been part of the history of Mendoza. In 1969, our family took the direction, transforming it into a family space dedicated to the production of high-quality wines, with a recognition that has transcended borders. Today, as the third generation at the helm, we guide the winery with a clear vision: honor tradition and project ourselves into the future. In the 1980s and 1990s, we marked our own path by planting new strains in the province, such as Viognier and Moscato Bianco, creating a unique identity. Since 2001, when Sofia began to lead Lagarde, the direction was clear, forging the foundations of the family winery with a clear commitment to Mendoza's nature and our community. With the entry of Lucila in 2011, the sisters' vision of the future focused on terroir wines and also Lagarde's gastronomic foothold with the birth of Fogón, Cocina de Vineyard and Zonda Cocina de Paisaje. "We consider ourselves simple guardians of this jewel of Mendoza's viticulture and history. We believe in our duty to do everything possible to work the land in the best possible way and leave it in better condition than when we received it."
