The expression of Malbec from Gualtallary, combining notes of fruit, flowers and minerals from the terroir, added to a 12-month aging in new French oak barrels, results in this combination of freshness, great body, and elegance that makes us proud.
Tasting notes & pairing
With an intense violet red color, this Malbec elegantly expresses the identity of Gualtallary. On the nose it displays aromas of ripe black fruits, such as plums and blackberries, accompanied by delicate floral notes, subtle spices and an elegant contribution of cocoa, vanilla and tobacco from its aging in oak barrels. In the mouth it has an excellent structure, fine tannins and a silky texture, with a marked freshness and an attractive minerality characteristic of the calcareous soils of Gualtallary. Its finish is long, balanced and persistent, where fruit and terroir remain the protagonists. Ideal to accompany grilled red meats, chorizo steak, steak eye and Patagonian lamb. It also harmonizes perfectly with stuffed pasta accompanied by intense sauces, mushroom risottos, semi-hard and cured cheeses, as well as with grilled vegetables and Mediterranean cuisine dishes.
